Held at Augusta National Golf Club each year in April, the Masters Golf Tournament is a well-established tournament and regular stop for qualifiers on the PGA tour. The first Masters tournament was held in1934, after golf enthusiasts Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts decided to promote and encourage golf by sponsoring a tournament.

Augusta takes great pride in hosting each spring the Masters Golf tournament,the sport’s most prestigious event. Augusta National, designed by Allister MacKenzie, would be a treasured golf course even if it never hosted a professional golf event. It is one of the truest tests of the sport.

The NCAA Basketball Championship started in 1939 and it has since created a legacy for educational institutions basketball teams. Every spring, 65 (or 64 for women) basketball teams compete for the title in what is truly called March Madness. The NCAA Basketball Championship is one such event that shapes individuals to face life in all its diverse forms. 

March Madness is easily the most popular college sports event in the country. I think its appeal is due to the large number of teams, increasing the likelihood of your alma mater participating,and for gamblers the lure of so many chances to win or loose in a short period of time.   But the best part is actually being at the game and getting wrapped up in all the excitement.
